Ah, Gee! Evan, would like to have ya come see us sooner<g>?! Maybe ya
could settle for a trip on the Restored Liner "United States"? I'm on
another List Thing of dreamers that would LOVE to see the "Big U" sailing
again?See new Docu "Lady in Waiting" she sits in Philadelphia, across the
Smellaware (Delaware)River from the restored battleship New Jersey. About as
much chance as the Airships folks have in getting regular service going?
Airships were a facinating footnote in aviation history. Enough money were
to be spent on Hindinburg 2, Hell! We have a Queen Merry 2, now<g>?While in
dreamland, a trip out to RT-66 Land on the 20th Century Limited, 16 hours
NY-Chicago, delightfully steam powered, faster than Amtrak's Late Sure
Limited, nowadaze. After all the Zepilin Co. had a perfect safety record 'til
Lakehurst, in '37? Hindinburg was Diseasel powered, so will be very pricy to
drive, I'm afraid? You could work on engines in flight!
Sea Ya?
