After 3 messages, could we move this to the new list now?

(I set up mail filters last week to identify postings to the old
list... it's really helpful. Also helpful to purge the old addresses
from your address lists. Really I would like to see create.ucsb start
bouncing posts but ucsb doesn't seem to care.)

Dear All,

Is out there someone who tried to do modal synthesis with SC?
Do you have any references / links / code?

Sorry if this is an old topic for you.
I'm new to this list.

thank you,

David

Sorry, I think I didn't explain well.
By Modal Synthesis I mean that particular technique in Physical
modeling.

The "Klank" UGen is probably the first thing to look at - see its help
file for examples.

You could say that my approach to cymbal synthesis is along
modal-synthesis lines: http://www.mcld.co.uk/cymbalsynthesis/
