Of sure, NB 6.0...

but what does mean 'a different handler' ?

Thanks, Stefano.

Is your application based on NetBeans Platform? If so, you only need to use
a different handler. If not, this post is off-topic...

Stefano,

How are you handling exceptions? Wasn't something like
"Exceptions.printStackTrace" or "NotifyDescriptor.Exception"?

Eduardo

I've found!!! The solution is here: http://forums.java.net/jive/message.jspa?messageID=243991

However I had a COMM_FAILURE Exception that is a SecurityException of EJB Library.

Unfortunately now, I've another problem.

When I run my application from Nb it takes my dynamic params without problems; on the contrary when I launch zip Application Distribution it doesn't work: my application cannot connect to my server glassfish. I've linked correctly my glassfish library and others in a local folder and in my project library wrapper modules.

I think it's a bug of Nb but, at the moment, how can I resolve this problem ?

Thank you so much.
Stefano

What do you mean by dynamic params? How are you getting those parameters into your NB application in the IDE? How are you getting them to your standalone application?

What do you mean by dynamic params?

I mean that I configure them by a form and after i pass them as connection params...

How are you getting those parameters into your NB application in the IDE?

I pass them in the code of connection initialization: this connection works correctly if I run my application from Netbeans: it doesn't work only if I run my ZIP distribution.

Have you understood ?

Thanks a lot.

Can you add some debug lines and log your connection values as they are at the time you pass them in? Then we can check those values along with the exception. You can even use System.out to get it going faster if you are not using any logging apis at the moment.

Multiple locale build

Is there a build of NetBeans with all locales in it.
i.e. as per the JDK multi-language option.

I use the NetBeans platform plus one or 2 extra bits, and want to have a
version that works in German, Italian, Chinese, English and Portuguese.

Do I have to have a separate build for each language, or is there a
platform build with all of these already in it.

Or do I have to build from source and put in the translations I want
into the source build.
