Hi Ted,
How about using multiple cameras?
If there is a way to delay a camera to start shooting in 4 hours, set them at 15 sec.
If not, set 6 cameras to shoot every 1.5 min, and trigger them 15 sec apart. Then interlace the resulting frames from 6 different cameras...
Hope this helps.
Miki

Subject: [Nikon] Nikon D200 or D300 interval recording more than 999
frames...

Is there any way to make the camera record more than 999 frames in
the interval recording? I've even searched for any external timers
and all I can find will only go up to 399. We are doing some heavy
duty time lapse of industrial sites - and I need to record a frame
every 15 seconds for 24 hours at a time.
Right now, that puts 999 frames at about 4 hours and a couple of
minutes - and I'm having to drive back out to the project every 4
hours to reset it. We tried a frame every 30 seconds, but the client
wanted a bit more 'motion' detail than that.
Anyone have a solution? Commercial or fabricated?
We have D200's, D70's and D300's to work with.
Thanks!
