Re: Netbeans 6.1 final, Install breaks/Won't start up

Okay, I un-zipped that and tried it, and same results, namely nothing. The
IDE does not start up.

I have looked in the Event Viewer, and looked for "Debugging" or "Logging"
options to netbeans.exe and nbexec.exe, to try to figure out what is going
wrong, but maybe someone reading this will recognize what is going on. Or,
at least, have an idea of how to debug this problem.

I have a problem similar to yours (also Win2k, etc), but my install of 6.1
went to completion. Whenever I try to start NetBeans, nothing seems to
happen. I can see in Task Manager that it starts up and then immediately
exits. No idea why.
