I am actually using a menu made by
http://www.udm4.com/, which handles our 508 compliancy issues. I don't know why they padded their z-index up to 20,000. As Matthew mentioned, I am sure there is a way to use my own custom CSS to override the z-index.
Just a side note: You guys are doing an excellent job with farcry!

I'm not sure its something we'd anticipated needing ;)
Please raise an enhancement request with your suggestion at
http://bugs.farcrycms.org/. In the interim you might try reducing the
z-index of our menu :)
