Joe,

Are you trying to send Stan on an ego trip?  If you send too much praise his way, he will think his liberal politics are correct.  He fails to stop and understand that small businesses like his will have to supply his workers required benefits under socialism espoused by the current national Democrats.  The National Democrats have tried to get rid of the minimum number of workers for businesses many times in the past.  Their objective is one employee and you must have medical insurance, retirement, paid vacations, family leave plans, etc., etc.

Imagine a recycled Rhodes 22 starting at $99,000 to pay for those required benefits to employees for General Boats to stay in business.

The socialist on this forum have even seduced one union member into believing that compulsory government bargaining is the same as collective bargaining by employees.  Socialism is made to sound good in the media, but when did the Soviet Union have a successful five year plan?

How many on this forum have been to a former Soviet Block country and wanted those results?

 Dear Mr. Ed,

While you may be correct with your quote about Socialism. it might also be said one man taking care of another is the Christian thing to do and all I hear on the airwaves is how much of a Christian nation this is. If the price of a recycled rhodes has to rise to $99,000 so the employees have a decent standard of living then I suppose you will either have to ask your employer for a raise or do the work yourself. I have worked for small (<5 employees) businesses for most of my life and believe me there is no negotiating. If you want to keep your job, you shut your yap and take what you're offered. As the song goes "I'm taking what there givin cause I'm workin for a living".
