Hello Cal,

Thank you for your answer. Actually I am interested in bringing you my help on The Ground Report. You can tell me what I can do. Recently, I worked with iReport and it seems to be a very powerful tool. But I am neither very good at using it for the moment. So I will follow you on jfreechart. Besides, if I remember, iReport also uses jfreechart. But you can also send me the alpha code for testing. Here are the ftp parameters:

Host: ftp.neoxia.net

Server type: ftp

User: grinder

Password : grinder2008!

Tell me if you face problems to connect.

Tagnon.

Hi Tagnon,

I have set up a project called The Ground Report on sourceforge @:

ground.sourceforge.net

At present I haven't uploaded any files to it or project cover page as

it is still in alpha stage testing and I keep on running out of that

most precious commodity..time.

The backend is a db which loads in the raw data and churns out summary

stats analogous to the grinder console summary. Currently the backend

is written specifically for postgres 8.2 and higher

The frontend is being written (badly :-)) in jython and utilising

JFreeChart for the graphs and docbook xml for the document. It

transforms to pdf, rtf and xhtml at present.

I found my abilities with iReport/JasperReports wanting so thats the

reason for going the direction I have with the frontend. There is no

reason that you could not take the backend db and put your own front

end on it.

If you are interested in helping then I'll try and get the files up

into CVS/SVN this week and would welcome any help at all.

If you would just like to try the alpha code as is then please send me

some ftp/sftp/scp details as the package is a hefty 24MB at the moment

(practically all libs).

Cheers

Cal
