I believe for DVD-A to be gapless on "every player", the disc has to consist of only one track. New songs start at a "Track Mark" instead of a new track, and you don't get any gaps.

I don't think this software has that feature, but that's only what I think.

"One track" can mean a variety of different things:

- one single-track title
- one "chapter",
- one MPEG stream

My listening experience, and close examination of the disc output of commercial software, show that you do need one single title for a gapless experience. What is still a moot point is whether you can have several (same-title) chapters. Overall, the answer seems to be positive enough for most players, for tracks with same audio characteristics.

I think I made DVD-A discs with one title and multipel
chapters (accessible via the remote as when playing a
DVD-V) which gave gaps on my NAD T524.
I need random access like on my CD-player, so what
could I do to avoid ungaplessness?

Udo
