This is kind of a technical question, and kind of a business question.

What is "4D Unlimited Desktop"?

Is it v11's rendition of standalone, or is it the engine? The upgrade  
docs didn't seem to mention it.

i.e. what all pieces need to be hanging about to get a simple app  
compiled with 4D Developer Professional to run on it's own without  
multiple installations?

Also, is it just me or is the 4D Store really that slow?

I asked Tracy about it and if I understood correctly, this allows you to create engined applications that have the 4D splash window on quitting. If you don't want that then you need to go OEM now.
