Re: 16F505 - wont enter debugSome of those chips need a special made header for in circuit debugging, do you have one?

The '505 is so bare bones...internal osc, mclr, wdt....nothing I can see that would prevent it from going into debug. Anyone have a suggestion? I'm traveling this week, so hopefully might see an answer today before I hit the road. It does connect, says it programs, just wont enter the debug mode -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist |

Re: 16F505 - wont enter debugI just brought this chip up on MPLAB. It has a green dot (debugging
supported) for the simulator and ICE2000. It appears no other debugging is supported. The following URL has the list. It is written for PICkit 2 but applies the same to MPLAB ICD2. http://www.microchip.com/stellent/idcplg?IdcService=SS_GET_PAGE&nodeId=1406&dDocName=en027813 Xiaofan -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist |
