no, you're right... I initiated that thread just out of wishful thinking of programming against the Flash API in Scala... and I think it just might happen. in that thread I posted about 2 guys out there that are already working on that, with reports of some amount of success. When I have more time Im going to look into the bytecode again, but in general I think this will all be more relevant when Mozilla starts releasing alpha/beta's of Firefox4/Mozila2 that has the Adobe Tamarin VM integrated into it
There was a thread about this a while back.
I think Martin's response was...
- EPFL is already maintaining JVM and .NET
- It's up to the community to create and maintain other targets
- Look into the scala src about the icode for how to do this.
