Hello Brad,
Thanks for your quick reply!
I got some of these errors listed below after executing an HTTP Post MIDlet on CLDC/MIDP platform, "Nokia S40 DP 2.0 SDK 1.1" and "S40 5th Edition SDK Feature Pack 1".. However, it does work on "Sun Java(TM) Wireless Toolkit 2.5.1 for CLDC".
Errors received are:
Using Untrusted simulated domain
Uncaught exception java/lang/NullPointerException.
WARNING: Traffic View: Listing of TCP/UDP Sent traffic is set to off (see Monitor)
WARNING: Traffic View: Listing of TCP/UDP received traffic is set to off (see Monitor)
Any idea whether the error shows up only for older SDK's? and what is this WARNING about, how do I and should I turn on the
Sent/Receive traffic?
PS. I'm using netbeans 6.1 final (latest)
Thank you.
Regards,
Joseph

Hi Joseph,
If you use the Visual Mobile Designer in NetBeans Mobility 6.1 or 6.0 it
should be relatively simple by using the Flow design view to create the
multi-screen app you desire. Whether or not this will deploy to your
device depends on what it supports. :)
Have a look at the Visual Mobile Designer tutorials on the Mobility
learning trail (
http://www.netbeans.org/kb/trails/mobility.html). The
File Browser tutorial includes the multi-screen sequence you describe so
it may be useful:
http://www.netbeans.org/kb/60/mobility/filebrowser.htmlIf you need some help figuring our the VMD, check out the reference page
for the components it includes:
http://wiki.netbeans.org/VisualMobileDesignerPalatteReferenceHopefully this will help. If you need more specific feedback, please
include some basic details about your project platform (midp 2.0?, msa?
samsung or nokia, etc?) and also which version of NetBeans you are using.
cheers,
Brad
