instead of a tree, I thought that a carusel will be implemented in
places like image upload, other galleries, user faces etc.. as purposed
in #6845

I still plan on using a carousel for the image upload view. This  
particular widget was meant more as a way to quickly navigate to a  
specific gallery without having to navigate through all of the  
ancestor galleries to get to a child.  More in the spirit of Ticket:  
4582, although not exactly what Chuck was looking for... I don't think  
a carousel would work especially well here, as it would only show the  
top level galleries.

I don't recall any discussions/plans about using a carousel for faces?  
Although if you have some ideas/code I'd be happy to look at it.

I also have an item on my TODO list for creating a few more Gallery  
Views, one of which will be "Flickr-like" using a carousel along with  
a single, replaceable screen image...haven't really looked too much at  
the layout for that yet though and it will probably be sometime after  
Ansel goes beta or RC.
