http://doc.php.net/php/it is the "Italian translation team website"
and the their mailinglist address is doc-it@... (CCed)

There is an Italian translation team (see
http://no.php.net/manual/it/) but as far as I can tell they have been
sleeping for awhile.

For further information you'll need to talk to the guys on the Italian
translation list (doc-it@...) or the general documentation
mailing list (phpdoc@...).

"sleeping" is an hard word... I'd say that we are just zombies.

I just begun to patch the translation so that it quits giving
compilation errors... Than I'm going to call all the old translators and
see if we can restart the work.
