Question about indexing of local artifactory repositories

I tried having M2Eclipse index against the 1.3.0 beta-2 Artifactory repository. However the index that it produces appears to only include the proxied, remote repos.

I was hoping that if I requested M2Eclipse to create an index of Artifactory that I would also see indexing of these two repositories:

    -  libs-snapshots-local

    -  libs-releases-local

These are important because with multiple users of Artifactory these repos need indexes to help users find artifacts (deployed there by other developers) from their Eclipse environment.

When I ran the index on http://myhost:8081/artifactory/repo these local repos didn't get indexed. When I tried to index explicitly on libs-snapshots-local, I got the following error:

6/29/08 9:44:43 AM PDT: Unable to update index for just-local http://myhost:8081/artifactory/libs-snapshots-local

Indexing runs on every round hour by default, so there is a good chance that the index for the local repos still hasn't been created and you just proxied the remote indexes by directly requesting them from their remote location (this is also done automatically when the scheduled indexing runs, BTW). You should see an indication in the log when the index runs. I you, however, see such indication that reports an error in indexing please report it.
