Problem with wacom USB touch screen and twinview

Dear Ping at al,

I have an HP TX 2130 tablet here; one of the new ones with a USB touch
screen and tablet. I am using the latest beta drivers, 0.8.1, which I
compiled and installed myself, and I have confirmed that I am using the
Wacom driver as per the HOWTO. Both tablet and touchscreen are working
in that they take input, but they seem to be operating without any
calibration. The touch screen moves the mouse pointer about 1/8 of the
distance that I drag my finger, but it does move in the right direction,
and positioning seems relative. The stylus and eraser moves the pointer
exactly correctly along the X-axis, positioning absolute, but I can only
access the top part of the screen: it is as though the Y-axis value is
half what it should be.

I have attempted to run wacomcpl, selecting the calibration options, and
when I select the screen, I get the following error, and tapping the
crosshairs has no effect:

unknown device "stylus" or it is currently a core device
unknown device "stylus" or it is currently a core device
    while executing
"wacomxi::bindevent .topleft.m $device <ButtonRelease>
{calibrationSequence 0 %0 %1}"
    (procedure "startCalibration" line 20)
    invoked from within
"startCalibration"
    (procedure "updateScreenList" line 22)
    invoked from within
"updateScreenList"
    (command bound to event)

I ought to say that I am using Twinview vertical (constraining tablet
use to its monitor) , but I have the same problems with using the tablet
on one screen. The relevant sections of my current xorg.conf:

What additional information can I give you to help me get my mouse
pointer under my stylus anywhere other than the top row of the monitor
(where y/2 = 1 )? Do you think the touchscreen issue is related?

Many thanks,
J.
