Problem starting docbase

Hello,
I am setting up a disaster recovery environment for my docbase.
Everything was setup and tested on the company LAN and everything was
functioning properly.  The problem I am having is when I moved the
environment to the colocation and start the content server I get the
error:
[DM_SERVER_E_CREATE_CONTEXT]: Unable to create server context.  Error:
Failure to determine process user DB Computer. Operating System
error: No Error Message Available

The environment had to be re-ip'd and is now connecting to the network
via an internet tunnel.  I can connect to network shares on the
company LAN and authenticate to the server fine.  Also the Java Method
Server and Docbroker start up successfully but the docbase service
fails to start with stated error.  Does anybody know what may be
causing my problem?

Did you create the same user account on the new machine which was used as
the install account on the previous one?

In you rmail you mentioned that IP's have to be modified. DO you have the same IP address or is it a different one from when you installed the CS. If yes then there is a patch available from EMC to fix this issue. Is you CS in D6.0

Thanks

You've lost access to your PDC.  Documentum will not launch on cached
credentials.  It must be able to contact the PDC to authenticate the install
owner.

I think we need a better understanding of your issue before we're able
to provide any help.

1)  Is there an "Import Here" folder, if was "Input Here" an option that
was available when you has a folder selected?

2) What Documentum client are you using (i.e. WebTop, DA, other)?

3) Are documents always going to the incorrect docbase, or this just
happen once.   Are you trying to move the objects from one docbase to
another?

Just a note:

You are most likely aware that Documentum has already released version
6.0.  Version 5.3 will no longer be supported after this year.   It may
benefit you to upgrade in the near future, as there aren't many people
out here who are still using 4i.

I'm thinking this may be the problem but like I said I am able to map
shares from the content server back to the corporate lan.  I'm
wondering if there is a different port that content server needs open
or something.

The ip address was changed in the move because the colocation is it's
own site so it has it's own subnet.  We are running 5.3 sp3...is this
a known bug or am I just experiencing a configuration issue?

Correct in D6 SP1 it is a bug. Whenever the CS hostname or IP address
gets change - error comes while starting or shutting down the CS.
There is a patch available in EMC powerlink site. Just run the patch
as per the inst.
This will solve the problem.

Cheers
