Problem making Samba domain account

I'm trying to get lam running on a new system.  Before I can enter groups and
users, I'm told I need to enter a Samba domain; but when I try to do that, I
get an error message:

Was unable to create DN: sambaDomainName=UTBC1,ou-domains,dc=utbc.
Invalid DN syntax.

What am I missing?

Many thanks,
Art Monzingo

I guess that you did not install the Samba schema on your LDAP server.
It is included in the Samba tar.gz file and needs to be added to slap.conf.

If you don't retype the line by hand you'll have mistake in the DN.
You have ou-domains instead of ou=domains isn't it?
