Problem in using the jar file

Respected Sir,
After reading the First Example on MDR, i have got the jar file for UMLMETAL Model for the Metric Analyzer i am developing . I have not understood the where to  Create a new instance of "Project" package in "Project model" extent and name it "Projects metadata" (so that repository.getExtent("Projects metadata") call in the example above does not return null).
// get the extent containing projects metadata (instance of

        // "Project" package in "Project model")
        ProjectsPackage extent = (ProjectsPackage) repository.getExtent("Projects metadata");

And how i can use the same in my 
uml.jar file case.
