I hit the following (minor) problem trying to build the fetcher from CVS
head:
Maven sucks in Commons HTTPClient 2.0.1, and this seems to be an error.
In particular, various bits of code are trying to use
org.apache.commons.httpclient.params.HttpClientParams which does not
exist in that version of HTTPClient, only in 3.0.1. This just seems to
be an error in the build.xml (and in maven.xml? I don't know Maven;
there is a reference to 2.0.1 in the maven.xml, but it doesn't seem to
actually do anything. Fixing the references in build.xml -- changing
them from 2.0.1 to 3.0.1 seems to have the desired effect.
I didn't think a patch was worthwhile for a 1-line change - Please let
me know if that thinking is wrong ;-)
