Problem Sync Nokia N70 (with KDE PIM)Hello list,
now I tried a quite long time to sync my N70 with KDE PIM. The Phone send and receive some entries but there some errors left. I hope someone can tell me why these errors appear or how I identify which entries the errors cause. tia Oli ERROR1: ======== Sent an entry 2721 of size 301 to member 2. First it would help to know which plugin is member 1 and which is number 2. > Error writing entry 1715 to member 2: Unable to commit change. Error 424 > Mapping Write Error: Unable to commit change. Error 424 (SyncML) Error 424 means "size mismatch". This usually happens if a large object is send and the size which was send in the first message does not match the real size. This can also happen if the object which should be send is larger than MaxObjSize. Please check the configured maximal object size and size of entry 1336. If you don't know what's entry 1336 then simply look for the largest object (some people - like me - add photos to their contacts but forget that a 4MB photo is not optimal for a phone, especially if MaxObjSize is 400kB). > Error writing entry 1336 to member 2: Unable to commit change. Error 500 > Mapping Write Error: Unable to commit change. Error 500 The error message is perfect here. Usually the phone detected duplicated UIDs because of problems with the vformat stuff which is not 100% perfect until now.
