Dear folks,
on versions of 4D before 2004 I was able to force the table presented to
the user in the Export (to file)
4D dialog by tweaking an empty export settings document (any table)
previously saved on disk.
I read the (export settings) document into a blob and, by setting the
blob{8} eight byte equal to the number of the table
I would like to show and doing an EXPORT DATA("";blob;*) the export
dialog showed up wiith the table
(as per the number stored in 8th byte) pre-selected.
Now in 2004 this seems to work in all situations BUT not when dealing with
a merged (OEM) stand-alone (not client/server) version.
Any ideas?
TIA,
