Re: Patch for NetBeans IDE 6.1 Now Available
Good stuff, Mary. Thanks for making it even easier
than Eclipse's nice update features. It's certainly less confusing to
run. Maybe I'm giving something up, but for now I haven't found it.

RE: Patch for NetBeans IDE 6.1 Now AvailableI don’t see this patch. I don’t have a globe at the
lower right corner and if I am going to search for updates it tells me that my
IDE is up to date. Last time I updated it 2-3 days ago and only one update (new
colors for Ruby) was installed). I have 5 update centers configured including primary Netbeans,
Beta, development, etc. So, where is the patch? Thx, Gary From: Russell Bateman

Re: Patch for NetBeans IDE 6.1 Now AvailableYour NetBeans checks for updates after some amount of time. Maybe default
setting is set (every week). You can change this settings here: Tools > Plugins > Settings > Check Interval Change to e.g. "Every startup" and restart NetBeans. That should help ;). regards, Marek Dnia 25-05-2008 o 04:25:22 Gary Greenberg <gary.greenberg@...> napisał: > I don't see this patch. RE: Patch for NetBeans IDE 6.1 Now AvailableNo, "Help/Check For updates" says that my IDE is up to date,
I do have access to the update server. Otherwise it would complain and I can easily open the page you are referring to. I did check Tools/Plugins/Installed: Java -> Version and I have 1.2, although I do not know what it signifies. I do keep an eye for updates and I doubt very much that I could have missed such important one. However, My Help->About tells me: Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.1 (Build 200804211638) Java: 1.6.0_05; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 10.0-b19 System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1252; en_US (nb) Userdir: C:\Documents and Settings\gary.greenberg\.netbeans\6.1 If the patch was installed it should tell me something like "IDE 6.1Patch1", isn't it? -----Original Message----- From: Marek Nowicki [mailto:faramir2@...] Sent: Sunday, May 25, 2008 12:46 PM To: nbj2ee@...
