Panasonic Lumix TZ4I've received a Panasonic Lumix TZ4 as a gift, and before I open it, I'd
like to know if it's supported by libgphoto. Previously when I bought a camera, it wasn't listed as being supported, but when I manually updated the HAL FDI and udev rules files, it worked like a charm. So I'm wondering if anybody knows if the same is true of the TZ4. That is, is it using a standard method of communication that will work once I tell gphoto that it's a camera, or does the TZ4 require more work, in which case I'll just have it returned to the store. All the Lumix models we know are either capable of Mass Storage access (like a USB stick), or PTP (support by libgphoto2). So it will work, and with newer distros should even work without FDI editing. Either the system can mount it directly without libgphoto2, or gphoto2 --auto-detect will just detect it.
