Is that a 1U box?  I think that is what we have where I work.

If you want QoS, you will need version 7.something ofo the OS.

Latest rescue is a PIX 515 with 32MB RAM - after digging around in my
RAM pile, it now has 128MB RAM, which is supposed to be the maximum for
this device.

It currently has PIX 6.0(1) on it.  Also has a password, but I figured
if I was adding a new load onto it I would clear the password and the
old OS at the same time.

Any Cisco users out there have a recommended level of PIX OS that should
be on this machine?  I intend to use it for a Solaris zones box and not
use up any more public IP addresses.

Yeah, ours in 1U, but I think ours has more of a P2 grade celeron.

They seem to be a bit rather limited, which is irritating.  I would have
gone with (and tried to recommend to management) a PC running OpenBSD.

It is a 1U, about the same size as a Netra X1 / v100.

I guess I don't *need* QoS if I am being honest about it.  And I wonder
how fast v7 or v8 would run on the P200 that it has anyways.
