OFX investment download problems

I have some problems when downloading investment transactions from my
broker.  The KM accounts were setup with the wizard as normal: 2
accounts "XYZ Investment" with type=Investment and "XYZ Investment
(Brokerage)" with type = Checking.

When downloading the OFX file containing a dividend and an investment
buy from my broker, KMM creates incorrectly duplicated transactions.
After the download is processed, the investment account contains 2
seemingly identical transactions reflecting the dividend, and the
associated brokerage account also has 2 identical transactions.
However, none of the 4 transactions can ever be accepted and the
calculated Balance totals in the ledger are incorrect.  The only way to
actually enter the transaction and get the account to balance is to
delete the downloaded transactions and manually enter the two transactions.

Also, the transaction matcher never matches these transactions and
another 2+4 incorrect transactions are entered into the ledger each time
the file is loaded.
