Dear All,

mySQL serving on a Windows box. What is the trick to connect to it  
with 4D ODBC Pro from a Macintosh computer?

Hi Jaime,

You need an ODBC driver (and possiblly the OpenLink ODBC Framework) on
your Mac.

More info here if you *do* need Openlink:

The drivers on Mac OS in general do *not* come from the database
vendor...it's the opposite of Windows.  But I think MySQL does have a
driver.

I'm now able to connect to mySQL database....

I guess that doing it for connecting to SQL Server is the same but  
with other connector, I'm I right?

the DSN file in MAC?

As a point of information, the iODBC frameworks (aka OpenLink  
frameworks) are also installed automatically with Actual Technologies  
drivers as part of the "Actual ODBC Pack":
