One correction to a recent post on this list: Nyquist is not limited to
non-commercial use and/or redistribution. The following are requests but
not part of the license (full text in nyquist/license.txt):

Please do not distribute modified versions of Nyquist without permission.
Any redistribution of Nyquist should include a notice that Nyquist can be
obtained free from
http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~music.

It would not violate the spirit of the license requests to make and sell
an application for (re)tuning (for example) based on Nyquist.
