Not exactly know what is wrong

Hi all,

 

I have the following code which based on the input of the user the topic changes. However, my problem is that the character just stops at the first line, without continuing at the rest of the text. I am using Gary's Active X control for AIMLPad. The most strange think however, is that the AIMLPad executes the script just fine, but when it comes to the ActiveX it just cut the text at the first line. Any help will be greatly appreciated

<li value="YANNIS RITSOS HOUSE"> I am not really sure where to start the discusion about one of the Greatest avant-garde poet of Greece. Well, OK, I will try to describe very briefly his life and work. Yannis Ritsos was borned in Monemvasia on May 1st 1909. From his father he inherited his aristocraticness and from his mother, Eleftheria Bouzounara, his artistic nature. His early life was devided between the big family house, the Chani, at Gravia, and the estates at Velies and Hatzalaga. These first images later to be translated into words. The maelstrom of family misfortuness, tuberculosis, were indelibly  preserved in two of his poems "Spring Symphony" and "Trauma of a 12 Year old Christ". At the Gymansium in Gythion he met N.Vrettakos. To solve the problem of survival in Athens he worked succesively as a typist, librarian and writer; in 1928 he contracted tuberculosis. His life was devided between Athens and Monemvasia, and at the Club of the School of Philosophy he came in contact with many literary people. Under the metaxas dictatorship he found hismself forced into a position of social conflict, at the same time as he devoted himself to artistic activities (acting,directing). After the war he worked as an editor in book publishing and wrote for the periodical Nea Grammata. Due to his socio-political activities he was basished at different times to various places: Limnos, Makronisos and elsewhere. In 1954 he married a doctor, Falitsa Yeoryiadis from Samos and in 1955 had a daughter, Eri. In 1956 he was awarded the First State Price for his poem "Moonlight Sonata". He was very prolific and among his milestone works were "Pyramids", "Epitaphios", "Romiosini", "Couplets of Bitter Homeland" and many others. He also produced anthologies of Roumanian, Czech and Slovakian Poetry. He translated many foreign poetry. At the beginning his work was influenced by Neoromantic-Neosymbolist peotry, but at the end he turned into classical myth. He was honoured many times, including the Lenin price (in 1977) and many more others. Now, i hope that my description was satisfing enough.
