Not dead yet... Hello everyone!
It's been quite a while since I last posted something on this list...over two years probably... For those who don't know me at all: I'm Christian Drossmann, the guy who made the German AIML set quite a while ago. To those who still know me: Greetings, hope you're all still well...despite being silent for so long I never unsubscribed from the lists and followed what's going on in the AIML-World whenever I found the time. I had a couple of rather drastic changes in my life in the past years and so I didn't find the time for anything besides work and family. Amazingly enough, to the present day people keep writing about what happened to GermanAlice and if I would ever release another version. So, a bit of information: While I still check my mail on arcormail (about once or twice in a year ;-) ) , the address drossmann@... has come into disuse long ago due to excessive spamming. Whoever is currently responsible for maintaining the website: could you please change my email address to "mail@..." ? Furthermore, as I kept receiving email about Alice, I decided to put up a page again with some info in German. I saw that there are a lot of bots out there, including bots for messageboards etc. that are based on the old German.aiml and so I though I might just release everything that has been sitting in a corner on my harddrive for a while and see what happens. I might go and compile a section for the various German bots out there too... You can find the page at www.drossmann.de . Could you please put a link to that onto the alicebot-page as well? Thank you... Maybe there *will* be an updated version...who knows? Sometimes I miss the coding ;-) Still alive and kicking, Christian Drossmann _______________________________________________ This is the alicebot-general mailing list Reply to alicebot-general@... Re: Not dead yet...Hello Christian! So good to hear from you. I took a look at your
website and was glad to see your progress. We will update the AI Foundation links to point to your latest information. Thank you for your many contributions. I think a lot of us have gone through those drastic changes in life over the past few years. Is anyone else lurking out there who wants to report in?
