New FarCry Plugin: FLV Video Player (jcFarcryFlvPlayer)

I released a new plugin for playing FLV Videos.  It supports both
FarCry 4 and FarCry 5.

I wrote the original code about a year ago for a client and converted
it to a FarCry plugin in Oct/Nov 2007 (and released it for public
consumption in January 2008).  I never officially announced it due to
a lack of documentation :).  Let me know what you think.

Regards,

Hi, Jeff. I just got a chance to try this out, and it is very nicely
done -- thanks for releasing it to the community!

I did encounter one issue when using the plugin with Fortress and the
latest version of the Mollio skeleton:

The displayPageStandard webskin for the jcFarcryFlvFile type is using
<cfmodule> and <cfinclude> calls to the /includes directory for the
header, footer and utility menu, whereas Mollio now implements this
via header and footer webskins. Obviously this is simple to change,
but I thought I would let you know, as it might trip some people up.

Thanks.  I'm glad you like it.

Thanks for pointing that out.  There are already a few new
modifications I've been working on since the last release (most of
which you can grab from SVN).  I'll make sure to make those changes in
there as well as soon as I get the chance.

Great job Jeff!

Your timing was . . . about a month late ;) About a week after I
finished building a similar plugin - you released yours ;) Ahhhh, the
time you could have saved me!

Anyway - you did an excellent job (as usual) - it will be a very
valuable plugin.

thanks,

elaine
