Practically all applications require additional files besides .class files - configuration files, other resources, etc. My practice up to this point has been to define a task that runs at some point in the build process and copies things into the build/classes directory. The extra files are available when running directly from that tree, and they get built into the final distribution jar. NB 6.5 is exhibiting a new behavior that I don't understand - when I execute the run command all non-class files are immediately deleted from the build tree, causing my app to fail. Why does this happen, and is there a better way to package these things? Thanks.
