NetBSD at LUG Radio Live USA 2008

Greetings to all of you,

I wanted to first of all thank Kevin and David for helping out with
NetBSD at the Southern California Linux Expo, I was extremely pleased
that there was a good solid BSD presence at the show.  Once planning for
SCALE 7x begins I was definitely be in contact.

As you may have heard, the LUG Radio team is planning a LUG Radio Live
in the US for 2008.  The event will take place in San Francisco, CA on
April 12th and 13th.  I have been asked by the LRL team to help find
exhibitors for their show and I wanted to see if there might be interest
from the NetBSD communtiy in being at LUG Radio Live.

Greetings everyone,

I hope this email finds everyone doing well.  I wanted to let everyone
know that planning for the 7th annual Southern California Linux Expo has
begun and we would love to have NetBSD back again.  The show will be
taking place on February 20th-22nd, 2009 once again at the Westin LAX in
Los Angeles, CA.

Both the FreeBSD and OpenBSD communities have expressed interest in
being at SCALE 7x, it would great to have all three projects represented
again.

I am also including our Call for Papers, in case anyone is interested in
 submitting a talk for consideration.

Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Be sure to ask some NetBSD-specific vendors like Coyote Point.  They
expressed interest in MeetBSD, but it was last minute rushed.

Just a quick heads-up;  I suspect that we still have time to get
something together for a booth at SCALE, but I definitely need somebody
to step up and help out.  SCALE's getting to be a bigger and bigger
deal, it's a fun time in any case, and it'd be a shame to have OpenBSD
and FreeBSD booths, but no NetBSD booth.

OTOH, staffing a booth alone all weekend is not much fun.  If somebody
wants to bop on down to southern California, I can offer a couch to
crash on (as a caveat, that couch and I are about an hour's drive from
the expo).
