Need a very basic turorial

Hello,

I got disconnected from the PV3D goodness for about 4 months because I dedicate
the time learning AS3 OOP, (can’t learn 2 things at a time!).

Now I am about to do a workshop this Sunday (RockOnFlash!!!)
so I decided to get my old PV files and refresh the knowledge, update the latest
PV stuff and when I ran the files, all sorts of errors…

So if you can send me a link on how to setup a simple
primitive on a scene and a camera will be great! I cant ttake it from there, because I am very new to the OOP is very hard for me to read and understand the API documentation

I learn my lesson… I just hope I can keep up with them on Sunday

Thanks for the help.

rS

www.gotoandlearn.com  Lee Brimelow's interactive cube is a good starting point. You will need to get the PV3D source via SVN if you didn't already.

Good luck!

I found this

http://www.thetechlabs.com/3d/create-a-as3-mp3-player-with-papervision3d-spectrum-display/

I copy and paste and work fine, so I just need to digg in and figure out the changes

But if you know any other source let me know

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply

Yes I try that one, the issue I had, is since March I haven't done any PV and today when I update and try my files I got al sort of errors, so I panic a little but I just found a tutorial, so in the next hour I will dig in to get ready for the training

Cheers

Hi

We started adding some basic papervision examples to test out ideas at
http://www.dehash.com/?page_id=134 which may be useful and there
should be some more added soon. They use the current SVN version
though which might not be what you want.
Lee Brimelow interactive cube at gotoandlearn.com is good and there
are some good ones at http://archive.pv3d.org also.
