Nautilus 2.22.2 - some JPEG files won't get thumbnailed

I've just downloaded photos from my camera; RAW files (.cr2) have been
thumbnailed successfully, but some JPEG files (3x smaller!) lack proper
thumbnail - there is only generic image type icon.

I can send a sample JPEG file if anyone is interested in looking into
it.

Debian GNU/Linux (unstable/experimental) AMD64 here.
