Native SaMBa browsing?

I know you probably get this question a lot.  But then I searched the
archives, and couldn't find that anyone has asked it.  At least not
recently.

Is there any chance you will be adding native SaMBa browsing to Thunar
in the near future?  I have done the fusesmb trick which mostly works,
but has a few bugs such as when you try to back up in a file tree.

I *love* Thunar, and xfce in general.  But most of the folks I know
have moved away from it to GNOME (mostly just to get the browsing
support).  I for one will stick with Thunar and smbclient for now.
But I am always checking your news to see if you are providing this
missing feature.  :-)

Thanks for the great work,

Woops.  I was on the Wiki, but I was trying to click the Wiki link on
that page which generates a "topic does not exist" error.  I had
missed everything under Documentation.

I've been through the steps in the linked forum thread, but like I
said - there seems to be problems with modern distros with going
backward through a file tree.  Not your application, I know.

Hopefully someone writes this framework for you some day.  ;-)

Best wishes,
