Name of the Second Chaotic Set Revealed

I was surfing around for some good Chaotic deals earlier, and I came across the name of the second set. Drum roll, please?

To take a guess, I'd say this set will include a lot more Danians, and likely feature a Mipedian and Danian Starter Deck.

Are you sure this is accurate? It doensn't seem like this will be the introduction of the Deep Ones which was supposed to be in the second set. I'd rather see if WEB4KIDZ or LED says this is real before being sure for myself. Although, it would seem accurate enough but only 100 new cards, unless remakes aren't considered new, then the set would be extremely small.

I just found that Ebay seller and it seems real, but how could he have acquired the case unless he/she worked for the manufacturer of the cards? Also, all the images have been removed noting that this was not to be done or that he doesn't actually have any of this new set. And if someone did buy one of his boxes how would it affect the codes that would be included in the cards, I doubt anyone would be able to just get these new cards into the online game before the actual release of the set.

He claims there are 23 of each type of card and 8 Ultra Rares, sounds unlikely to me.

Alright, first of all, I'm posting too much, and secondly I found another seller and it would seem accurate, naming all the new abilities like Defender, the ones you guys said and Element Proof (it should really be Elemental Resistance in my opinion). Also these types of tokens that would 'track' the Hive's infestation. Seems real but I still dislike the seemingly only 100 cards in the set.

Well you have to realize that the release date (that we know of...) says its coming out on march 19th, meaning that its only a month away from the official release. Even if it were to come out in.. say May that would still be a very quick expansion considering the Feb official release. So I assume that their planning a 3rd set in late spring/summer/early winter.

You know, releasing small expansions (100 cards) more often a year.

You mean, you think that releasing more expansions a year that focus on the expansion of certain Tribes is what they're currently doing? Not a bad idea but then that would give the advantage to a certain Tribe for the while that it is the one that got a boost and when none others got significant changes. I don't know about such a strategy (in sales), but if they think that it will be the best way then I guess that is fine. Also, March 19th? I thought all we knew was that it would be early Spring. I'd still like to hear something official before being certain about this.

I highly doubt its official, but the seller posted that the release was 3/10/08.

No the Pad has not yet been fixed and the date of release was originally planned for Spring 08.

Battle Brawler, to comment on what you said, the auction is a pre-order, meaning he doesn't have the cards, but obviously, he got the information on the new set. As for the release date, I remember hearing from somewhere that the second set would we released soon after the 'official' online release of the game, keeping the hobby shops ahead of the big franchises.

The Deep Ones were only for the original version of Chaotic, and I doubt that they'll ever release it in any form. However, the 8 ultra rares part does sound incredibly unlikely, but the 23 variants of each card is possible, considering all the different stats (disciplines and energy) that we've seen (I have 3 Grooks, and they all have different power). I do hope they release a Danian Deck. They'll finally get the combat boost they need.
