NRT audiofile processing

I was thinking of an app that processes automatically a soundfile in
various ways and exports a series of soundfiles as variations of the
first one.
I was wandering if supercollider is suitable for that kind of
programming, I guess I must look in NRT synthesis topics to see how I
can do such things, right??

Yes... NRT would be very suited for this. If you haven't used NRT
before, look at the main NRT helpfile, and I would also suggest
looking at the Ctk quark.

I would set-up a SynthDef with a PlayBuf and each effect you want,
then create a Score or CtkScore that loads the buffer and plays the
note. If you have an array of these SynthDefs, it could easily be
automated.

Hope that helps.
