Hi,
I would like to build a thin client frontend similar to what is shown in the linux mce google video here.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2176025602905109829&hl=enI am not interested in all the automation stuff so I was planning on using mythbuntu or just install frontend to whatever thin client distro I get. The primary objective of this will be small, quiet and attached to a nice flat screen tv to watch tv and films, not even interested in HD at this point either.
The box that seems to be mentioned often is this one.

First question I have is is this suitable for a front end machine ? If so has anyone else had experience with it ? What was the picture and sound quality like ?
Also are there any alternatives out there that are a) more appropriate and/or b) cheaper ?
