My two fanmade Battlegear concepts

Name:Omnigerif (pronounced omni-drift)
Type: Battlegear
Rarity: Ultra Rare

Attributes: Earth attacks against creature are decreased by 5

Background: There have long been experiments in constucting a gear based on the Aerodrone and the Windstrider. Both were capable of hovering in the air; however, the Aerodrone is impossible to carry passengers and is noisy when in operation because the spinning blades create a whistling sound, and the Windstrider doesn't have the speed and agility of the Aerodrone, has a fragile structure, and is subjected to crash in high speed winds. Then Underworld explorers discovered that at the bottom of the ZephyrGai Valley, a valley caused by an comet colliding with Perim's surface long ago, crystals grew from the ceiling of the Underworld that is under the site of collision. These crystals emitted a magnetic field that counteracts that of Perim resulting in a levitating effect. Khybon was ordered by Chaor to find pratical uses for the crystals, thus the result was the Omnigerif. This gear contains panels of the crystals used to create lift, and utilizes the Aerodrone propulsion system to create maximum lateral thrust. Although it may only be slightly less manveurable than the Torwegg, it is as silent as the Windstrider, as fast as the Aerodrone because the propulsion system no longer has to supply vertical thrust (however the weight of the Battlegear hinders the speed), and the gear could could be used as a shield, because crystal panels on the underside also slows down Earth attacks if not stop them.

Creator's Notes: If I were to actually start on a remake of Now or Never, Kaz would have a modified version called, Durchbo Omnigerif.


Name:Altusoles (pronounced al-tus-ols)
Type: Battlegear
Rarity: Ultra Rare

Attributes: Power increases by 10, Speed increase by 10

Background: While the Underworld uses the ZephyrGai crystals found in the Underworld to create Omnigerifs, Overworlders use a less dense form of the crystal as result of not getting compressed by the comet collision. Unlike the Zephyr cyrstals of the Underworld, they don't levitate. Instead, if sufficient force if applied they unleash 1.5 to 2.5 times the amount in an antigravity force in the opposition direction. The result was the Altusole, which contains beads of the crystal embedded on the underside. The Altusole works by enchancing the jumping capabilities of the creature. Creatures use them against enemy flying creatures as they would never expect a ground creature reach such a high altitude without flying Battlegear.

Creator's Notes: If I were to actually start on a remake of Now or Never, Tom would have a modified version called, Altusolux.

I suppose they're ok, no extremely new but pretty cool. I think the first one is not too well made because it completely removes the use of the Torwegg (unless you want multiple creatures to have it I guess). You may want to put a downfall on it too, like Fire attacks to 5 more or something. Also, neither (except maybe the first in it's current state) of them should be Ultra Rare, more like Super or just Rare.

Edit: On second thought, it would appear that the second one is like a ring of Na'arin or Elixir of Tenacity so you may either want to add a gain 10 Energy thing or even increase the amount increased by 5, for a total of 15 on each.

I added a decrease of Wisdom by 10 to the Omnigerif, because it takes some concentration to pilot the thing.

I think you should make it only creature with widom 65 or higher can use this battlegear
