My Nabble post was rejected by mailing list

I submitted a new post in the efw_user (Endian Firewall) forum in Nabble. Though it appeared in Nabble, I received an email from the mailinglist that said my post was rejected as I was not subscribed to the list.

Do I need to subscribe to the list before I can post anything in Nabble?

Yes, you will need to subscribe to a list first. You can go back to your old post to resend it after you have made sure that you are a subscriber to that list.
