Hi,

The Multi-Lingual Content section in the features PDF isn't really too
descriptive.

Are there any online resources on how translating English to Spanish
(and other languages) is achieved?

In what sense? Are you wanting to translate the farcry admin section?
If you want to translate the admin there are only a few translation resource files available.  
These are :

• de_at - austria german
• de_ch - swiss german
• de_de - german german :D
• de_lu
• en_us - english american (so with all those incorrect spellings ;o) )

If its just content that you want to translate, then Farcry already handles Latin languages without any changes

These are :

• de_at - austria german
• de_ch - swiss german
• de_de - german german :D
• de_lu - luxemborg german
• en_us - english american (so with all those incorrect spellings ;o) )
• es_do - dominican republic spanish
• fi_fi - Finnish
• pt_br - Brazilian Portugese
• ru_ru - Russian!
• sv_se - Swedish

The default language is en_au or en_gb English Australian/British.

If you want to switch to one of these languages, edit your profile in the admin and select the appropriate language. If there isn't a resource file for the selected file it'll go to the default resource file.

If you want to set up another language file for your specific language - take a look in the /core/packages/resources folder.  In there you will find files for the above languages.  Duplicate one of these, naming it with the appropriate language code, then change the entries in that file so that they are appropriate for your language.
