I know earlier M/Ps used a digital noise source, while later units used
analogue noise. Anyone know what the SN is where they switched over?

No audible difference,
but problem of early MP4 is clicky noise like Prophet-5.

Thank you.

Doesn't "no audible difference" contradict "problem... is clicky noise"?

In any case, the difference is clearly audible. The digital noise
sounds like a one second sample of noise that is looped. It sounds
like a train! Horrible.

I do not know the serial number of the changeover, but my Mo/Po that
a little higher than 375470 (I'm not listing my exact S/N) has the
analog noise.

John

"no audible difference" is about "S/N".

This is what I said "clicky noise".

Thank you.

Oh! I am afraid that you misunderstood the question, where "S/N"
referred to "serial number." Look again:

In other words, what is the serial number of the first MP-4 with
analog noise -- where Korg switched from digital to analog noise.

Best regards,
John

Sorry, no information about Serial#

Thank you.
