Mirror Modifier

Hi!

I have just sent a mirror modifier script. It actually uses the current tools
and set the connections properly, no script calculation indeed.
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2017582&group_id=11113&atid=311113

I have a problem because if I use MeshModifierScript I get the following error
on the console.
ERROR: /home/joa/004-K3d/src/k3d/k3dsdk/mesh_operations.cpp line 63: assertion
`GPrims' failed
So if i update something on the pipeline it gets working, but don't know how to
do it via script.

Although If I use the NullOutputScript I gets working.
Look for the NullOutputScript and load the script. I have attached sample files.

I'd like to use MeshModifierScript so that it is listed on the right click menu
for easy access.

Cheers!
Joaquín

I would suggest using your user page in the wiki for these
explorations.  The problem with posting prototypes to the patch tracker
is that they're prototypes - they aren't ready to be merged, but leaving
them in the tracker hurts our SF stats.  I've just removed several that
fall into this category.

Also, I wasn't able to open your patch with tar or the Gnome Archiver.

From your description, MeshModifierScript and NullOutputScript are the
wrong tools for the job - they are pipeline components.  You need to
just write a script for the Action menu.

Tim

This is a discouraging answer.

Well, i sent it to the svn, since is a very useful tool for artist and it
doesn't hurt for future compatibility.

Cheers,
Joaquín
