Hello

Somewhere on your website there was  a link to a Pop-Punk band in South America that used Audacity to mix their album. I'm frustrated because I looked all over fur the link and cant find it! Do you know which I am referring to and where the link is located? Thanks!

There is a rock band called Audacity but from Finland:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/about/links

There are links to music created with Audacity here:
http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?title=CreatedUsingAudacity

but I don't see a band from South America. Or did you mean the custom
Umixit version of Audacity?

Nope, those don't fit. Whoever it was hosted their songs on another site that offered free downloads, but you had to have either BitTorrent or emule on your computer. So I got emule installed, then went back and tried to find where it was mentioned on your site but I never saw it again. Pop punk. Some place like Venezuela I think? They were called the "Futurama Punk Band" or some weird name almost like that. I swear it was on your site saying they used Audacity to mix their albums.

These people? The link is on the Lounge section of the audacity forum,
and one of them is also system administrator for www.audacityteam.org.

There is no instance of the word "punk" on http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
and there have not been any changes to the site within the last couple of
weeks.

I suggest you search Google for "audacity" "punk" and "South America" or
similar but we can't help you.

Richard Ash helped me find them. It was this group here:
 http://blog.futurabanda.com.ar/

I understand that band is by someone involved with Audacityteam.org.

Yes indeed I knew Buanzo (our system administrator) was into punk music
but did not know he had his own band and I had never actually gone into
"the Lounge" in the Forum. So it was a good job Richard happened to know.
As Dominic (our lead developer) also creates music with Audacity they are
now "top of the list" on our "Created with Audacity" page:
