Merge starts and then dies

Each time I try to merge, it starts to do the merge ... the bar goes across about 1/4 way and then stops ... I can't figure out what is going on.  Has this happened to anyone else?

I had downloaded and tried DigDb in the past and it had worked beautifully, but I hadn't had an immediate need so I deleted it.  I just re-downloaded it and paid for the registration - could that be the problem?

Thanks -

Jennifer

I suspect that it could be that you have some "funny" data in the middle of your table, "funny" means special characters or error values such as #DIV/0! etc...

If you can narrow the problem cells to a reasonable range, you can select the range, and then invoke DigDB->Selection->Select Cells->Types->Error to find and select the cells that has error values. This may take a long time if the selected range is big, but works well if it's not that big.

If you still have problems, please forward the file to us and we will take a look.
