Hi Joost,

I would love to see it but can't. IE7 and FF 3.1. I get the splash and
the credit screen and hear sound.
So much for 360video.

Another observation:
1st click to get to their flash start page....which loads for quite some
time.
2nd click to the click the 'now' page.....
3rd click to get to the load page.... which loads quite a while.
4th click to push 'Start'.......
5th click on the video splash page....so the friking thing would finally
start...you would think.
6th click to get outta here.

What in the world must they be thinking.....so many clicks and 'No' real
content.

Ridiculous.

Cheers, Milko

Maybe it's your Flash version? And I agree, too many clicks and a long
wait. Still the video is cool if you can see it..

It will not display on the Mac in either Safari of Firefox.

Quite impressive on Vista, with IE 7 and Firefox 2.0.0.15

The  video frame appears to be 520 x 386, and the resolution is fairly
low, but the quick video editing cuts and the sound track make for an
interesting action panorama.  It's interesting to notice the shadows of
the tripod and video heads on both cars, but frames of the actual video
head were masked with a logo circle.

Works fine on WinXP(pro)+ IE6.
Thanks for the link Joost!

The .flv is also fun to watch (in FLV Player), the full 360 degrees all
at once : )
I wonder which .swf is/are needed for 'normal' viewing, there's about
32 of them....

Yes, it must be the newest flash (beta) upgrade in windows, not working.
I just switched on the mac with the older plug in versions and it showed.
I would love to get my hands on this video and 'lucidfy' it to show
'much' better performance than this ;-)

The accessibility has not been been impressive and it's not the media...
in my opinion.

Cheers, Milko

I didn't have any problem seeing it on my Mac using Safari.

Worked fine for me - decent 360 video.  Yea, too many clicks though. Took
about 35 seconds to download on my connection (I have a really fast pipe!)
Not bad, quality is so-so, typical wavy flash rendering.

Decent? Are you serious? Honestly, I felt the same WOW! factor I felt
when I first saw a spherical pano!! I really put aside video quality,
and the amount of clicks, even the (not so big) amount of time it took
to load, the result is completely worth it - I mean, the subject (on
my opinion) took over the technicalities. I didn't search for the
details, were this done similarly to Bill Meikle's experiences? As a
child watching some other child with a new toy, I WANT ONE, AND I WANT
IT NOW!!! ;-)

I made one of them last year with a oneshot lens attached to a canon
hand-held DV camera. - the technology is not new.  What would have been cool
would be able to click on different cars to switch views. The editing was
jerky and not done very well.  For embracing the newer technology, kudos.
For execution, not very well thought out.
