Measuring the Success of Celebratory EventsAll,
I am applying for a grant to fund a student conference/luncheon and journal that celebrates student writing. One question I have to address asks how I am going to measure the success of the event. Any ideas on how to measure this? thanks, Regina Regina Clemens Fox, Ph.D. English Composition Lecturer Languages & Cultures School of Letters and Sciences Mail Code 0320 Arizona State University 411 North Central Ave, Ste. 343 Phoenix, AZ 85004-0696 Contact: Email: regina.clemensfox@... Subject: Re: Measuring the Success of Celebratory Events You can do a survey of those in attendance of the event asking them what they thought. It doesn't need to be complicated or fancy (a 5 point strongly agree, agree, neutral, disagree, strongly disagree) on how they liked the presentations/panels, keynote, other events like lunch and the journal is one way to measure. If the items that appear in the journal are selected by blind review, you can state how many were submitted and of those how many were published. Good luck! Re: THANKS! RE: Measuring the SuccessLindsay is waitressing, and just got home. I don't really know exactly what my relationship with Walt is. We are friends and maybe more than friends but not to the extent that we don't have our own lives. Believe me I don't count on him to keep me company all the time...if I did I'd be disappointed hahahahaha.

Re: THANKS! RE: Measuring the SuccessPlease disregard this message, unfortunately posted to the list but meant for my sister. How embarrassing but not the first time I've made such a mistake. My apologies.
