Hello all,
I've scoured a bunch of websites to learn how to instrument my war file. I've seen a bunch of indications that it can be done, but I haven't found any examples. I'm a Maven newbie, so I'm not sure what to do next.
Here's the situation:
I have a maven project with two sub-projects. Subproject A builds a bunch of source files, instruments them, produces a coverage report and builds a war file.
Subproject B takes that war file, runs a set of functional/integration tests (dbunit and selenium) and then finishes.
The problem is that Subproject B doesn't seem to use instrumented code, nor does it produce a cobertura.ser file, so there's no integration testing coverage in my overall reports. I do include the cobertura plugin in the report section, but that doesn't seem to do anything.
Based on what I've read, I can see that it's possible to instrument a war file in Maven w/Cobertura, but I haven't seen any examples, so I'm at a loss. Which is why I thought I would bring the question up here and see if y'all have any examples.
Thanks!
John
